Delete your Pocket Hawk account

Pocket Hawk, by Playful Pixel LLC.

How to ask

  1. Write to support@pockethawk.app from the email address your Google or GitHub account uses with Pocket Hawk: Ask to delete my account.
  2. Say you want your Pocket Hawk account deleted. Nothing else is needed, and never send a source's key.
  3. We delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner, and write back when it's done.

You don't need the app to ask. A later version will let you delete your account yourself, in the app and here.

What's deleted

Your account and everything the server keeps with it, at once: your record of signing in, and your phones, sources, events and settings (the privacy policy lists them all). Your sources' keys stop working, and your phones stop getting notifications.

What's kept

Nothing of your account on the server. Its logs of requests (which hold IP addresses) and the database's backups are kept for up to 7 days, and then they're gone too. Your email asking us, and our answer, stay in our mailbox for up to a year.

What's on your own devices stays there until you remove it: uninstall the app on each phone, and remove the hooks from each computer, which takes their key with them.

Deleting your Pocket Hawk account doesn't delete your Google or GitHub account. To take back Pocket Hawk's access there, remove it from that account's connected apps.

See the Privacy policy for everything else.
